Attach Files To Comments To Provide Clarity

When leaving a comment for feedback, Punchlist allows you to upload files as a part of your commentary or in your reply. You can upload files directly from your device or take advantage of our integrations from three major file storage platforms: OneDrive (and OneDrive Business), Dropbox, or Google Drive.

Never lose time cross referencing file names between a comment and your file storage folders again. We collect and display all files that are related to a single piece of feedback in the item’s File tab.

To attach a file to comments:

  1. Click the file upload icon.
  2. Select your computer or the storage platform your file is located on. You may be prompted to log on to your chosen platform. Don’t worry, we only extract images and never modify or delete them.
  3. Choose the file you want to use and click “Upload” or “Upload More” to attach multiple files at one time.
  4. Once you have completed the upload, you should now see a list of all the files uploaded at the bottom of the comment card. This display confirms that you have uploaded everything you want to share.
  5. Click “Submit”.
