When a piece of feedback is left in a Punchlist project, it automatically populates as a task in your Asana workspace.

“Okay, how does that help me?” We hear you screaming.

Rather than having to go through the tedious process of logging into Asana, creating a task, and adding in all the details so someone on your team can take care of a piece of feedback, most of the work is done for you. 

All you need to do is go in, assign the task, and set a due date. The task already comes pre-filled with design specs, what the feedback entails, and a link back to the feedback in the Punchlist project.

In short, Punchlist’s Asana integration takes out steps in the feedback management process, helping your team get from project revisions to project delivered in less time than ever.

How Do I Set up the Punchlist-Asana Integration?

1. Go to Team→Workspace Integrations→Select the Asana integration panel

2. Click Authenticate. If you haven’t already, you will be asked to log in to your Asana workspace

3. Create a New Project and add a name to your project with the URL or file to which you want feedback added

‍

4. Once your project is created, click the gear button in the top right of your Punchlist project

‍

5. Click Add an Integration

‍

6. Choose the Asana panel under Available Integrations

7. Once prompted, click Authenticate

‍

8. Choose the Asana workspace you’d like to connect to Punchlist

9. Select the project you want to connect to Punchlist within your Asana workspace. Punchlist feedback will automatically populate as Asana tasks within this project

10.  Select whether you want this feature to be Automatic or Manual. If you set this to automatic, all issues created will be sent automatically as they are added to this Punchlist project

Now, you can leave feedback in Punchlist and it will show up in your Asana workspace. Easy as that!
